Our last woodworking class for the year was held last Saturday in our Brisbane Workshop, and our wonderful, eager students enjoyed a fun and productive morning. They enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to learn new skills while getting their hands truly involved in some creative timber work. Our budding woodworkers were guided through the finer techniques of sanding and shaping and are now confident and competent in the use of hand planes , a drill press, and chisels.
This valuable learning experience culminated in the creation of beautifully sanded, shaped, and finished timber salt and pepper shakers—an elegant piece they can treasure always, carrying a genuine sense of pride
. What a wonderful year it has been sharing our passion and knowledge for all things woodworking.
